Weekly roundup: Art and action

The Guardian has a piece on 12 ways that art can help spark action on climate change. A couple of my favorites: Stay hopeful, and show it’s more fun to be a creator than a consumer. Check out the full list on The Guardian website.

The 2016 finalists for a prestigious Echoing Green fellowship have been announced, and among them are groups that use the arts and storytelling for social change. One such group is the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble, which works to “reduce tension between youth and law enforcement by facilitating dialogue through artistic engagement and multimedia theatrical productions.”
