Storytelling forms new and old — in NY and TN

Your faithful Narrative Arts correspondent, Paul VanDeCarr, will be attending the Future of Storytelling Summit next week in New York City, and then the next day heading straight to the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee. How’s that for a blast of cutting-edge and traditional? If you’ll be there and want to say hi, email me at paul (at) workingnarratives (dot) org. News from both those places will be on the blog in the coming weeks, but for now, here are a couple recent videos from the Future of Storytelling. The first one is on “Empathy, Neurochemistry, and the Dramatic Arc,” and the second is on “9 Viral Video Myths.”
