Films for change in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA’S “MORAL MOVIES” FILM SERIES GOES THROUGH JULY: If you’re in North Carolina anytime between now and the end of July, or just want to learn about a model for how to link film and activism, then check out the MORAL MOVIES series, co-sponsored by our friends at Working Films, as well as by the North Carolina NAACP and other state and local organizations. MORAL MOVIES is a “four month series of award-winning films to jumpstart community dialogue and action on social, economic, and environmental issues relevant to the state.” Free screenings and public discussions happen the last week of each month in April through July in Asheville, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, Greenville, Raleigh, and Wilmington. The films include American Teacher (April), American Winter (May), Freedom Summer (June) and Inequality for All (July). For a complete schedule, click here.
