Starting Wednesday: Online course in social-change journalism!

JOURNALISM FOR SOCIAL CHANGE: Starting this Wednesday, March 4th, there’s an online course called “Journalism for Social Change,” offered by Daniel Heimpel of the University of California, Berkeley. The course lasts six weeks, expected workload is 2-4 hours per week, and you can take part on your own schedule. Students will learn how to use journalism as a tool for social change, and get feedback on stories they write themselves. There’s a full course description here. The course is free to audit, or there’s a small fee if you want to take it as a “certificate” course.
